Each spring my car have to be checked by ITV, the Spanish institution that controls the fleet in Spain. I have a Ford that has rolled some years and reached 80,000 km. The run is so small that one should assume it will be approved, but you cannot say for sure. And not doing it better; during last year I have heard some scraping under and in back of my car. I therefore found it safest to let my workshop check it beforehand. I therefore drove to see
my nice and good workshop, Talleres, Torrevieja, and they told me I could be back at 9 AM a few days later. So I did, leaving my car simply saying Brakes and Pré – ITV control.
Before closing time at 7 PM, I met there to pick it up again. I was explained that the brake pads on the rear tires were worn and had been replaced and that pré – ITV control had been performed. I paid the bill and drove in good mood.
