Plaza de la constitution

The park of Torrevieja center – Plaza de la constitution

In the center of Torrevieja, three or four streets from the seafront and the Club Nautico, is an open paved area with benches, trees, plants and a small fountain. North of this is also one of the city churches.

Plaza de la Constitution

Plaza de la Constitution

This is an older, large stone church with two towers and statues in the exterior walls. In this place people congregate throughout the day for recreation, by sitting watching life. The children run, play and frolic. This is the center of town, with traffic in all four surrounding streets. It is wonderful to find such a place, then relaxing in the middle of the bustle. It is worth visiting. Surrounding streets are Patricio Perez, Ramon Gallud, Bazan and Caballero de Rodas. The latter street runs between the park and the church.
